We are stuck navigating miles of orange cones with missing or misplaced signage, while major roads sit closed for months without a single piece of equipment moving. Rick knows this firsthand. He will prioritize common-sense safety and demand real accountability. We need to stop managing projects from behind a desk and start listening to the local drivers and residents who actually know these roads. That’s how we ensure safe travelers and smooth operations.

For Rick, backing the badge isn't a campaign slogan—it’s personal. With a sister who serves as a police officer, he understands the daily sacrifices and dangers our law enforcement families face. As Walworth County Board Chair, Rick didn't just talk about support; he delivered. He worked hand-in-hand with the Sheriff's Department to fully upgrade our critical 911 emergency system and consistently secured the vital equipment and resources our deputies need to come home safe. Rick will always work to ensure our officers can protect our communities without fear, because a fully supported department means a safer Wisconsin.
LOCAL POWER
Big Tech data centers and sprawling industrial solar fields are swallowing up prime Wisconsin farmland, and it needs to stop. Rick believes our towns and counties—not distant boards or corporate developers—must have the ultimate authority over local land-use planning. He will fight to ensure local municipalities have the ironclad power to say no to projects that threaten our agricultural heritage. We must preserve our best soils and keep our land in the hands of local families. Decisions about our community belong at the town hall, not in a corporate boardroom.

When our service members return home, they should be welcomed with open arms, not bureaucratic roadblocks. Rick Stacey stands firmly with our military families—a commitment that hits close to home with his own stepson serving in the Air Force. Rick is taking on a broken system where veterans using their hard-earned VA home benefits are routinely pushed to the bottom of the pile when making an offer on a house. This disrespect to our heroes has to stop. Rick will champion legislation to protect veteran homebuyers, smash the stigma surrounding VA loans, and ensure military families get the priority, resources, and fair shot they earned on the battlefield.
